Native American Church yarn blanket manufactured in Mexico / Unknown

Essay/Description

Weft faced Mexican textile of acrylic yarn with a dark turquoise border, bands of black, light blue, white, red. It is symmetrical on either side of the design. A wide band of dark turquoise at the middle; light blue band/ticking on turquoise ground with design in red, reverse order, the design in blue is the only one that is different, the other bands are the same. White warp fringe. A printed tag sewn on the textile reads "Americraft Inc. 100% Acrylic-Mexico".
