Essay/Description

A Cheyenne machine sewn blue cotton dress with red sleeves and undergarment. The dress has tabs attached at the hemline. Undergarment is a single piece of fabric with five darts sewn at the top edge.

Curatorial Remarks

This dress appears to be modeled after a leather Southern Plains dress, but it does not follow the same cuts.
