Curatorial Remarks

This is not a sash, they are ribbon work panels. These type of ribbon work panels would have been worn with straight dance clothing at a dance. Ribbon work panels are also used in making a blanket. If these panels are Osage, it'd be intended for a man to wear. This is indicative by the geometric designs.
