Men’s polka dot purple shirt

Curatorial Remarks

Ribbon shirts were worn for a variety of reasons, but they were most commonly associated with straight dance clothing. This style of shirt became an inter-tribal style among the south and southwestern United States. There may be regional differences in these styles.
