June 12, 1 9 2 9. Mrs. A. M. Soha, Jr., 17th and Helens Ave., Tacoma, Wash. Dear Martha: Yours of June 6 received. Thanks for such a nice letter. You always make me feel that I have to work twice as hard to be the kind of a woman you say I am and if my influence over you has helped you conquer anything that you feel should be conquered, I am sure glad and the tone of your letter sounds as if you were quite happy. If you and that nice husband of yours are driving and get near me at the lake, I’d be so happy to have you come and make a little visit and tell him I promise not to steal you away unless he wishes you to stay. But a few days there would do neither of you any harm and I’d be happy to have you. Denny is just as cute as he can be and Mrs. Dotson is going to take care of him while I’m gone. She will have a lot of fune [sic] with him too. I’m glad to know you have Ann with you. She is such a happy little soul. Thanks for the film. I will return it to you when I have gotten some plates made. I know you enjoy your car and hope to see you this summer. Sincerely, NCR: ED
