Pasadena, California November 25, 1930. Mr. Edward L. Albright, R o s e b u d , Montana. Dear Mr. Albright: Your letter of November 19th, received. I have been waiting to hear from you before proceeding to do anything with Mother’s painting. I will now see what I can do. Don’t be too hopeful for the amount you are asking for the picture not but what it is worth it but just now people don’t seem to be buying much of that sort of thing. Personally, I haven’t sold a picture for months but I will do the best I can for you and will let you know as soon as I hear from my client. It will be necessary to photograph the picture and send the photograph rather than have the original chasing across the country. I don’t think you could hear from me in less than six weeks’ time and then I am not sure what the verdict will be. Sincerely,
