Pasadena, California. June 10, 1931. Hon. Joseph M. Dixon, First Assistant Secretary, Department of the Interior, Washington, D. C. My dear Mr. Dixon: Under separate cover, I am sending you the photo- graph of Charlie which I promised you and I hope you like it. I am to see Senator Walsh in Montana this summer. He, too, is much interested in seeing that Montana does something it will be proud of rather than otherwise. By the first of July, Jack and I will be at Lake MacDonald and I hope you are West during the sum- mer so that I may see you. I appreciate so much your interest and help in the honoring of our Charlie and when you have any further information regarding the statue that Montana is to place in Statuary Hall, I shall be happy to hear from you. Sincerely,
