June 25 1926 Mr. Irvin S. Cobb, 830 Park Avenue, New York City. Dear Mr. Cobb: Your nice letter was received in California and we are delighted to know you are going to find yourself married to a grandmother. I am sure you will have a great lot of fun with the wee babe. All grand parents do. We are looking forward to see- ing you in Glacier Park the last of July. I was up the other day and Leo told me they were expecting you the last of the month. I did not see Mr. and Mrs. Lewis as I was only there one day and they were in Columbia Falls. We are leaving tonight for Roch- ester, Minnesota,. Charlie is going to the Mayo’s to have that beastly goiter removed. It seems to be the only thing to do and he has finally consented to have it out. We don’t know how long they will keep us but I don’t imagine over two weeks. We will be at the Kahler Hotel, and I know Charlie would be de- lighted with a little note from you. Our very best love and we are looking forward to seeing you this summer. Sincerely,
