Thanks very much for the letter and I am going to write Mr. Cole and ask him to write me something more as he has the tang of the sage brush in his phras- ing. There is no doubt he know Charlie in the early days. I do appreciate your helping me in this way by gath ring material that is good and authentic. I was quite sure you were East and am glad you are back. Mame’s improvement i s [sic] a satisfac- tion. I hope soon she will be able to do anything she wants to do. Thank you again for your kindness.
