April 26, 1927.
Miss Agnes Laut,
Wassaic, New York.
My dear Miss Laut:
Thank you for your letter, also the enclosed letter
of Mr. McBride. I have written him and am enclosing
a copy of my letter. If you have time and have any
suggestions to give, I would appreciate it as I am
very green about publishers.
It is nice to know you are well, and I hope to see
you in the West again this year; maybe as you fly
by on your way to the Coast. I have been very busy
getting a new line up on my life. I am now in my
new home which I call TRAIL’S END and hope to make
a successful little gallery from which to sell
Russel [sic] Bronze and books, and once in a very long
time, -a picture. I don’t want to dispose of
the paintings.
I plan to go back to Montana in June when Jack is
out of school, and will at that time settle up a
lot of my affairs in Montana – three homes are too
much.
Thanks so much for your letter and all good wishes
to you.
Sincerely,
