Miss Josephine Blanch,
Del Monte, Cal.
Dear Miss Blanch:
Your telegram was received here upon
my arrival home Friday. It had been mailed to me at
Montana where I had been for three months and as we
have been through a forest fire, which had all the mail
and railway express stopped for days, everything was lost.
That is why I did not answer your message.
It is probably too late for this
particular customer but I want you to know that I will
be happy to hear from you at any time in the future. I
expect to be at home this winter. So sorry to have missed
this opportunity.
Sincerely,
NCR: ED
