July 2, 1929. Mr. Charley A. Beil, Glacier Park, Montana. Dear Folkes [sic]:- Your telegram, also a letter of June 27th, received. The delay on the telegram was caused because my phone was not connected and the telegram not delivered as promptly as it would have been otherwise, but I wired you to get me the horses, if you thought them O.K. I am delighted to know that you people are coming over to see us and you must know the welcome is waiting for you. We have just about gotten camp settled. Mrs. Lockland has been lots of company and seems to enjoy the mountains much more than I had thought she would. I am glad to hear the modeling is coming along fine. You’re going to have lots of fun with your work and that means you are going to do good work. I will be glad to see you when you can come and I shall be waiting to hear from you what has happened about the horses and your plan for getting them over. If I am to ride horseback I shall have to have a few days to get broken in, and we have not gotten the horses up. Will be looking for a letter from you soon. All join in kindest regards.
