December 2, 1920. Mr. M. S. MacKay, Tenifly [sic], N.J. My Dar Mr. MacKay:-- I am scared to write to Mrs. MacKay because I didn’t get a letter to her this summer, but as we are planning to be in New York some time after the first of the year, I want to make peace with the family. It would never to do to go to New York and not see and be with you people as much as you have the time for us. The main reason for our trip East isfor [sic] Charley to get some figures in bronze so he has to be there to do the modeling, and I wondered if you could tell whether conditions were such as to warrant our trying to have an exhibition while there. The reports that we get west are so varied of the financial condition that I wanted something straight. I personally do not think that the financial depression would affect the people that we would deal with. Charley joins me in love to you all. Sincerely NCR-F
