417 Pine St. St. Louis, Oct 14 [190]4 Mo. Mr. H. Behrens Dear Sir, From your letters one would think Mr Russell had nothing to do but try to pleas you and waist so much time and you look at the work then return some as if you had not ordered it at all don’t you know that the style of work you want does not sell well and when Mr. Russell has spent two or three weeks on some things of this kind then have you return it some thing [sic] that is out of his line all to gether [sic] which was told you in Great Falls when you were there as for him making you another set of pictures that is impossible If you want to use his works you will have to use his own style and not order any more picture thing then not take it. The two pictures you returned were ordered by you painted as near as could be for you purpose are awaiting your pleasure. Very Truly (Mrs) C.M. Russell
