April 3, 1 9 2 8. Mr. Ernest E. Quantrell, 5 Leonard Road, Bronxville, N.Y. Dear Mr. Quantrell: Your nice letter of March 28 was received. I am so happy to know you had the visit in Great Falls and met my very best friend, Miss Trigg. She has most as many of Charlie’s treasures as I have; then, too, I am very happy that you were able to find some Russell originals to add to your collection. I would be glad to look out for prints any time I can find them. The only thing, I would most likely duplicate what you have. Sunday morning, your friend the Doctor, who you brought out here, came to the studio bringing another friend of yours from San Francisco. I am sorry I cannot remember either name. They enjoyed the bronze and the pictures so much and told me you had been in Great Falls . It’s always such a pleasure to have people, who like the Western things, come and enjoy them and I am so happy to have this place where they can get acquainted with Charlie. I am enclosing the description of your bronze figures. They should be sent on to you very soon now as I ordered them the day after you were here. My kindest regards to Mrs. Quantrell. Sincerely, NCR; ed encls desc bronze
