Trail’s End Pasadena, California January 16, 1928 Mr. I. W. Church Ford Bldg. Great Falls, Montana Dear Jerry: Yours of January 9th received with the check for $3,259.08, payment from Mr. Duerr for the ranch. I am glad it has been straightened out and off of my hands even at the loss it is. You deducted no fee for yourself, please let me know what I owe you. I have had a great many communications from Mr. Conway regarding the memorial and he notified me they would be ready to make it over shortly and said the committee wanted me to come back for the transfer. I felt you would let me know if you thought it was the thing to do and would not have me come if it was not necessary. From your letter I infer the papers can be sent to me and signed here. I am sure you know how glad I am to feel they are going to accept the little studio and make it into a memorial that will always be a credit, first to Charlie, then to the city. Thank you for all you have done for me. Sincerely, MG
