November 9, 1925 Dear Mrs. Russell: It is indeed good news to hear that you and Mr. Russell are to be in town in December and if there is anything this house can do to help in the exhibition we shall be only too glad to have you call on us. Two years ago a group of us from this organization made a riding tip in that Flathead country including Glacier Park. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Russell for a moment or two at Belton and we all enjoyed his pictures on exhibition at Lewis’ Hotel at Lake MacDonald. We are still interested in making re- productions of some of Mr. Russell’s paintings in a somewhat different manner than that originally requested, in a new magazine which we are to issue the first of the year under the title of WEST. A good many of the artists such as William R. Leigh and Frank Tenney Johnson, have already given us permission to make some reproductions of their paintings. Trusting to see you and Mr. Russell next month, I beg to remain, Yours very sincerely, [signed] H.E. Maule Editor, WEST Mrs. C. M. Russell Great Falls Montana HEM:F
