Dear Mrs. Russell: Air Mail On re-reading my reply to your letter of October first, I am afraid I did not fully get the meaning of same regarding the matter of a one-man exhibition, and I hasten to say, we have made all our preliminary plans for the exhibition and have announced it to the Art Writers and Art Magazines throughout the country, but we have not as yet fixed a definite date. We are anxious to have the exhibition as it has already been announced and will be willing to go ahead and arrange all details and if you prefer to leave it until later in the winter, or earlier in the spring, we will be glad to coincide with your wishes. Of course, we hope you can come on to New York, but if you find this impossible we still think it would be wise to have the show hers this year as announced. Dr. Philip G. Cole, has just been in the Galleries, and has selected four (4) bronzes, as follows: “Will Rogers” $500.00 “Nature’s Cattle” $350.00 “Seated Statuette Squaw $115.00 “Buffalo-Ash Tray” $150.00 He said to tell Mrs. Russell that he wants to purchase these through the Grand Central Galleries and that he will appreciate if she will make him a better price on the lot. As you know, he is one of the strongest admirers of Mr. Russell’s work and I am sure you will be glad to take care of him. I will appreciate if you will wire us, at our expense, total net price on the four bronzes so that we can close the deal without delay? Also, kindly write me about the MEMORIAL SHOW, as we are [2] Mrs. Nancy C. Russell-sheet two 10/14/27 anxious to do this and do it right.
