May 24, 1930 Mr. Erwin S. Barrie Grand Central Art Gallery 15 Vanderbilt Avenue New York, N.Y. Dear Mr. Barrie: Received May 5th check for $20.00 on account; also your letter of May 21st. I am sending by express a box containing three horse pieces and one Indian in bronze, as follows: “Where the Best of Riders Quit” “The Bucker and the Buckeroo” “The Broncho Buster “Watcher of the Plains” I have just checked over the list I have of my bronzes in your gallery. Please re-check them back to me, this list with the prices of today. If any of the pieces that you have are different please check them and make them according to my list, as I am hearing there is a difference between the prices on the bronze in some of the galleries and that must not be. It will come back to me and reflect discredit to us all. If there is any dif- ference it is because have had some of the models since before Mr. Russell passed away and the prices have been changed. You will please see that they are all corrected according to the enclosed list, won’t you? Thank you, Mr. Barrie, for your letter. Sincerely, R/W
