Pasadena, California. January 12, 1931. Miss Gertrude R. Cummings, Grand Central Art Galleries, 15 Vanderbilt Avenue, New York, New York. Dear Miss Cummings: I am having shipped to your Gallery from the Vose Gallery in Boston, some bronzes that I left there on sale. They are to list them and send them to you collect. Please pay the express charges and re-check them, sending me your memorandum so that I may have an accurate count of those returned. I know you will be glad that the bronzes are moving quietly but steadily. I have done very well indeed this winter, much to my surprise. Please keep me notified as the bronzes are sold out of your collection as I should like you to have a full line. I am glad you have cases that the small bronzes can be under cover as theft seems to be running wild these days. Sincerely,
