January 26, 1931 Mrs. Charles M. Russell Great Falls Montana Dear Mrs. Russell: We have just checked over our list of Russell bronze and find that there are many of which we have not a copy. We should like very much to have copies of these listed here and we believe we should have Mr. Russell’s group here for showing. We recently sold a copy of the “Wrangler”, payment for which will come along a little later in the spring. We are enclosing a list of those which we should like to have and hope that you will be able to arrange for us to have them as soon as possible, as we have inquiries right along and should have these pieces in the galleries. There are one or two items which do not appear to be clear according to our records. We have the “Medicine Man” on our records priced at $300.00 for a single copy and in the book of photographs the price has been marked $165.00 each and $250.00 a pair. These prices do not seem to be right. Also, please let us know if the piece entitled “Indian Maiden”, is the same as the one called “Piegan Squaw”; if it is not then we should have a copy of the “Indian Maiden”.
