Russell, “Trail’s End” 725 Michigan Blvd. Pasadena, California Dear Mrs. Russell: A short time ago I wrote you in reference to securing your assistance in getting something from Will Rogers about the bronze which Mr. Russell did of him. This bronze was purchased by one of my very good clients and I am especially anxious to please him in this matter, if I can do so. He has a very fine collection of American art of different kinds and likes to have some- thing of interest in connection with each item whenever it is possible. As I mentioned to you in my previous letter, he wrote Mr. Rogers himself two or three times without any result. I them told him I thought that possibly you might be able to help us out. I would appreciate if you would be kind enough to use your influence with Mr. Rogers to the ex- tent of having him write something about the bronze, even if it is only a few lines. If he would address anything to Mr. E.A. Bigelow, Worcester, Massachusetts, it would of course be that much more interesting. I don’t mean by this that h send anything direct to Mr. Bigelow, as a matter of fact, I would much prefer to have anything come to me so that I could in turn forward it to Mr. Bigelow.
