Trail’s End 725 Michigan Blvd., Pasadena, California. November 25th, 1939. Mr. Erwin S. Barrie, Grand Central Art Galleries 15 Vanderbilt Ave., New York, New York. Dear Mr. Barrie: Your letter of November 15th, received and I am very pleased with the “sound” of your visit with Mr. Carr. I feel sure something very good will work out for us all. I am glad you like Mr. Carr because he seems like a very sincere sort of person and isn’t one bit afraid of work. We are waiting to hear further about your prospect and whether he will come to California this winter. Mr. Carr said if he is not coming here that you wanted him to be in New York without fail when you have your meeting there. I am very happy to have Mr. Carr represent me because he is a business man and knows how to talk to a business man. I am delighted that you two hit it off in such a nice way. He says as many nice things about you as you have about him. I think you are both working with the very finest things in the world – you just can’t miss that’s all. There isn’t anything in the world like it for where it is to go and my fingers are crossed for you. Please remember me to Mr. Nelson. I think of you all as my friends. Sincere ly[sic] yours,
