My dear Mrs. Russell: Just on the eve of sending one of your husband’s paintings, which by good for- tune came into my hands recently, to the Stendahl Art Galleries at Lon[sic] Angeles, a friend came into my store and told me that you may be interested in it also. If you are in the market for it will you wire me immediately to that effect, or bet- ter still call me long distance tomorrow morning?
