June 23, 1930 Mr. John E. Lewis Callispell, Montana Dear Mr. Lewis: With reference to the $5,000 fire insurance which Mrs. Russell had us write covering your Russell oil painting entitled “Jumped”, we would suggest transferring the coverage to your Callispell address now that the painting has gone home to you. If you will be good enough to advise us of your location in Callispell, that is to say, the street number, and also the character of the building in which the painting is housed, whether frame or otherwise, together with the sort of roof, we will then be able to have the transfer of coverage made intelligently. Will you please let us have this information? We are writing on the assumption that of course you would like to have the protection continued at home so long as the policy was written sometime ago, the premium paid, etc., the protection should be made to follow the painting at its present location. Yours very truly, ALLEN & HOLLAND By E.I. Holland EIH:k
