September 28, 1929. Mr. Theodore A. Koetzli; 6537 Lexington Ave., Hollywood, Cal. Dear Mr. Koetzli: Yours of September 26th at hand. I remember you as a friend of Mr. Russell and I know he had a few plaster casts made from a wolf model. The questions you ask I’d be glad to answer if I saw the model; then, I would know positively whether it was Charlie’s wold but as to the valuation to be placed upon it, that would depend entirely upon the party who owns it and what value he puts on it. I know it could not be replaced in plaster although I think we have it in bronze but that I’m not sure of either. If your cast is painted in the natural colors, it gives it a certain value that nothing also could give, especially if it has not been touched since Charlie created it. I’m sorry I cannot give you anything definite as I’d be happy to help you out if I could. Sincerely, NCR: ED
