[handwritten] May 13th 1927 Dear Mrs. Russell:- We are sorry not to have seen you again. We knew you were over rushed with your [home?], and our last days of errands and packing made us hustle up to the last minute. We only have our letter mail forwarded from Taos, so in the evenings we look over the vast accumulations of mail- magazines, packages & [unknown symbol] and the other evening we came to the Christmas greeting and Charlie’s sketch. We are very thankful indeed for this and appreciate it highly. In looking over my stuff here I have found a number of things to send on to Mr. Cole – He is so absolutely enthusiastic and appreciative that it is one of my greatest pleasures to hear from him. I find another head of “Cold Marrow Bones” & of M Black feet, and one of Cold Mormon Jack, Shoshone. I also have a number of Navaho[sic] & others in the same class as those Mr. Cole got – if you will let me know if you will be in Pasadena long [enough?] I will send several on for you to make a selection – or if you are returning to Mont. soon, can send them –whatever you say. It will give my great pleasure to do this. Mrs. Sharp joins me in my kind regards. Sincerely yours [signed] J.H. Sharp
