Dear Mrs. Russell: A jinx of some kind seems to have followed the story connected with the bronzes of the Indian Medicine Man the Buffalo, and the Bears, which we purchased through your courtesy from Tiffany. You will recall that you did send me a description of the Medicine Man as well as the other two, but they were mislaid in our files some11here, and., as we are planning a traveling exhibit of oil paintings and Mr. Russell’s bronzes in Middle Western towns and cities, I am particularly anxious to get an accurate description of the Indian Medicine Man. May I trouble you for this again? I can assure you I will greatly appreciate the favor. You may recall conversation I had with you when last in Great Falls concerning possibility of Mr. Cobb visiting the eastern side of Glacier National "Park next summer and getting better acquaint- ted with the Indians. Can you advise me what the prospects are for his coming to Glacier Park next summer and whether or not we may find. a favorable opportunity to entertain him on the East side? It would be a keen pleasure to us to have the :privilege of introducing him to more of his fellow tribesmen and arranging a fishing expedition to Red Eagle or up into the Belly River and Waterton Lake country next summer.
