December 7 1926 Dr. Phillip[sic] G. Cole, 470 Vanderbilt Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Dear Doctor Cole: I have received three kind letter from you and I appreciate the friendship of Mrs. Cole and yourself. The letter Will James sent you certainly is a darling and I be very happy to have a dozen prints if you will send them to me. I know you will be glad to know I am going to take my small boy and go to my father in Pasadena for the balance of the winter, so will see you and Mrs. Cole in south- ern California in February or March. I will give you my ad- dress there so can let me know when you are in the city. I will have all the little things of Charlie’s down there so that you can see exactly what I have and if any- thing appeals to you. you can decide then what you want. I think that would be better than for me to try to describe to you in a letter what I have. I am leaving here December 15th and my address will be 701 Michigan Boulevard, Pasadena. I am enclosing a short description of your hunting picture, “Where Tracks Spell Meat”. Charlie intended to rewrite it and illustrate it but never got it finished.
