Dear Dr. Cole:
The Mount Helena picture is
finished and I shall express it to you, so
that you may have the first opportunity of
studying it. I have not had it framed be-
cause if you do care for it, it is possible
the frame you would want would be different
from what I would use.
If you like the little paint-
ing and wish to keep it, fine. If not,
please let me know at once and hold the
painting until I give you instructions as
to what to do with it.
I believe you are going to be
much pleased with Charlie’s idea of the old
mountain. I think you will also be pleased
with the price of it as Charlie said $3000
would be satisfactory to him. You under-
stand, if the picture goes into a gallery
the commission has to be added to the price
quoted to you.
