March 31 1925 Dr. Philip G. Cole, 8 Markwood Road, Forest Hills Gardens, Long Island, New York. Dear Dr. Cole: Your letter of March 24th received. I am enclosing the descriptions for the Russell things you purchased last January. I trust they are what you want. At least they will give you a record of Mr. Russell’s idea. We have had these things ready for some time but just delayed sending them. Charlie will see what he can do about the “Buffalo Hunt” description. Mr. Russell has also started planning on the mining picture for you. We will be going up to Helena in a few days and get the background from the gulch toward Mount Helena, as I remembered that was what you wanted, and Chas. to do as he pleased with the foreground, using the very early miners with gold pans. Charlie is going to enjoy doing this for you and that will mean good painting too. We were sorry not to see your family and be in your home this winter but we hope when we are East again you will all be well, then we will be happy to call. Charlie joins in kindest regards, Sincerely,
