725 Michigan Blvd., Pasadena, California. April 4th, 1934. Mrs. W.B. Campbell, 27 Lorraine Apts., Calgary, Alberta, C a n a d a. My dear Mrs. Campbell: I am hoping this letter will find you. I have a client who might possibly be interested in buying a picture. I think on the order or your picture “Carson's Men". However, he has been buying paintings at a very low figure during the past few years and I think I could get him to pay $5,000.00 for Carson's Men but am positive he could not pay more. As I have nothing of this type and hearing that you are really think of disposing of your pictures, is the reason for this letter. If you are interested, I shall be happy to hear from you and will communicate with my client ac- cording t o your letters. It is heart breaking to know that many of Charlie' s beautiful pictures have sold at ridiculously low prices. However, they have helped people over bumpy places and in every case the price paid has been more than the original cost of the picture. Kindest regards. Sincerely yours,
