[handwritten] [1] 27 Lorranie Apts- Calgary- My dear Mrs. Russell Thanks for your letter, the photos as you say certainly do not do justice to the pictures, the man who took them said he could have done much better had he had them in his studio, but we didn’t want to move them. As you say we can’t get any very good price for the pictures, we have decided (over) [2] just to keep them, as it is not really necessary for us to part with them. As I told you we are so unsettled and living in apartments have really no good place to keep them with us and as they are so valuable they are a worry really – however we have decided to do nothing at present; as they are in a fairly safe place (next) [3] just now – Thank you very much for the interest and trouble you have taken.
