[1] 24 Loraine Apt. Calgary My dear Mrs. Russell I am writing to ask if you have any pictures left for sale, we have been asked to find out and promised to do so if possible. I was speaking about the picture you had in 1919- a prarie[sic] schooner following a wagon trail very faint on (next) [2] just prarie[sic], I wrote to you once about it. If you have none for sale you might know of some that are for sale – price [illegible] I suppose size has something to do with it. Also when you write can you tell me the name of our picture- I thought it – “Pirates of the Plains”- Mr. Campbell thought “Raiders” so I want to make sure of it- (next) [3] Also the Indian burial – is it named? or can we christen it what we like? we I liked >to call it< The “Vanishing American” but- am not- sure if it was named by Mr. Russell or not-I often wonder how you & Jack are getting on and hear of you occasionaly [sic] from people I meet – we are all well. Alfred who I think is the same age as your Jack 15 has done very (next) [4] well at school passed all subjects in grade 10. & will take grade 11 starting in Sept. he is about 5^ft^ 9 & weighs 140 lbs could easily be taken for 17 or 18- makes me feel quite small. Well I hope we may meet again someday – if “oil” does well – there have been some fortunes made & it does look promising. Hoping to hear from you soon – Yours Sincerely (Mrs. W.B) Mary Campbell
