My dear Mr. Campbell:
Your two letters; also draft for
$1000. received. Thank you. Your note for
$500.00 is O.K.
Now about the two pictures. The
“Navajos” I have sent on to a man in New York.
It is true, he may not take it, but I have an
idea he will. I still have “Where Wagon Trails
Are Dim” and if you, I will make you aa[sic]
price of $750.00. You can pay $300.00 down and
give me you note for the balance, payable in
a year of eighteen months – interest 7%.
We are starting off in December
with an exhibition at the Art Institute in
Minneapolis, but we feel It will be no more in-
teresting that our work was in Canada this
fall.
Chas joins me in kindest regards
to Mrs. Campbell and yourself.
Very truly yours,
