Charles M. Russell painting in his log cabin studio, facing left. Holding an easel and brushes with his left hand. Photo "b" is attached to thick brown paper. Handwritten on the back, "2 140 25 9" and "77" enclosed in a penciled box. Paper tag with red border reads "page 198 A". Photo "c" is a more modern copy. Handwritten on the front, "To F 22".
