Britzman dated Jan. 21, 1939 which mentions Britzman's visit to Mr. Armstrong; James being delighted to hear about Mr. Bain; that Bob James should not have any problem locating Charles M. Russell's work in the Northwest; that he does not know much about James Pearson's antecedents but that he does have some connections with Yellowstone Kelly; also mentions the broken ear on Charles M. Russell's 'Wolf'; assures Britzman that Colonel Hindekope is a most charming person; mentions Bud Cowan's death; that he will send the verses of Charles M. Russell, but not yet; suggests that Bob James contact Miss B.R. DeLong in Washington about some Charles M. Russell work.
