Typed letter from Charles M. Russell to 'Friend Goodwin' (not dated) thanks him for the sketches and states that he has been busy on the book 'of Mrs. Straythorns.' Handwritten in pencil bottom recto: 'Two other illustrations - Mounted, Chas. and Goodwin belong to Goodwin letters.'
