Charles M. Russell's horse, Monte, stands unsaddled to the left. Circa. 1900. Handwritten on the back of the photo in pencil, "Left to Right, Charles M.. Russell. and Olaf Seltzer ?, Dick [unintelligible] says, 1/6/46".
