Copy of TU2009.39.6483a. Photograph of the water color painting 'Waiting for a Chinook, The Last of 5000' along with Charles M. Russell's signature located in the lower left of the image. On the back handwritten in blue ink is 'Waiting For A chinook' water color size 19"x28" (size of actual painting) and a note 'a chinook is a warm-wind, the only think that would possibly save the starving cattle - winter of 1897-1887 famous as the great destroyer of range cattle in Montana'
