Tan-colored pouch containing loose tobacco

Scope and Content Notes

Tan-colored pouch containing loose tobacco, "Genuine Durham", black label on the front with a strip of maroon paper surrounding the pouch; rolling papers included, but no longer attached to the back of the pouch.

Curatorial Remarks

Problem could be solved with proper rigid housing. Packet of rolling papers was once attached to pouch with paper hand. The band is broken on both sides of the rolling papers so they are no longer attached to the pouch. There is loose tobacco in the Ziploc bag holding the pouch but no hole is visible. There is an old dermestial larva skin in the bag. This probably came from another object. The label on the front of the pouch is creased and torn in several places.
