Dear Judge:- Your letter of Nov. 23rd to Chas. received, also the sack of Flapjack Flour, and Charley has been making them regularly every morning. I am not going to tell you all the nice things he says about them because he says he is going to write to you himself, and he will some of these days. You know he is never fast with his letter writing, but his letters are always very much worth while. I can’t resist telling you that we are planning on going to new York in January and think it would be grand to stop one and rest in Davenport, and have a good pow-wow with you folks. Charley has finished the camel picture for Mr. Lewis and it comes mighty near being as good as yours only the positions of these men, and their camels, spells “Adoration”, so I think that will it’s name and will fit as well as the “the Dawn” does yours.
