January 26 1926
Dr. Philip G. Cole, President,
A. Schraeder’s Son, Inc.,
New York City.
Dear Doctor Cole:
It was too bad that we
missed you and Mrs. Cole while we were
in New York this winter but I know just
how busy everybody was during the Christ-
mas rush and we were there just eighteen
days, which, after all, is a very short
time.
I would like to have had
you see the new water colors we had because
they were beautiful but we had nothing any
better or, in fact, as good as the Last
Chance Gulch picture that belongs to you.
When we go east again I
will try to let you know ahead of time so
that we may have the pleasure of seeing you
while there.
Sincerely,
