725 Michigan Blvd., Pasadena, California. January 4th, 1937. Mr. W. H. George, 417 First Ave. North Great Falls, Montana. Dear Mr. George: I fear the Christmas rush has delayed your sending me the manuscript about Charlie that Mr. Conway left with you, as you promised. In a former letter I told you I have one copy but part of it has been lost and I am glad you have a complete copy of itwhich[sic] will fill in what I require. As you know I paid Mr. Conway to write this manuscript and had him up a Lake McDonald for three months. Much of it is my own dictation and of no value to any one but me. If it is a bother to pack it, I know Miss Trigg would have it done at the library if you will kindly leave it with her. I thank you so much for attending to this for me in the very near future. I hope all good things come your way during this New Year. Sincerely,
