I will read it with pleasure. You will probably be hitting the trail to the West in July. We will go home in June so I will be at the Lake by the first of July and any time either before you go to the Bowls or after or both come on to the camp, and I’ll be delighted to have you as a passenger coming South the first part of September as I must get Jack in school so it will be before the 15th. I am going to warn you now that there is going to be many letters to write this summer and you are liable to be asked to use that old Fox typewriter of mine and somehow I don’t thin you are going to mind it and I don’t think you mind writing a letter typewritten although you know I am not writing it. The “Look of Letters” written by Charlie is coming along beautifully. I think I will have all the letters in the publishers hands by the first of June and this book is going to be more like Charlie than any- thing that has been gotten together as it’s just Charlie’s letters and you know he always hit the nail on the head, never wasting words, so I believe your hunch about padding any sort of a statement is right. The great charm with Charlie’s stories has always been his straight-from-the-shoulder style and his coming to the point immediately. Jack was home for Easter and I enjoyed him so much.
