I do not worry any more about things in Great Falls because I am perfectly sure it will come out alright and as for the model, for Charlie that’s to be placed in Washington, that, too, will come out for the best. I suppose they have decided now, as the meeting was to have been April 1st, but everybody in the world will know their choice before I do. I can’t be- lieve, though, that the wrong thing will be chosen. It will be in Washington for keeps and I know Montana well enough to know they will choose the best. Now, about you, - I am glad to hear you are having fun cutting models out of rock. It’s hard to believe what a fellow can do and you have plenty of talent and, with the necessity pushing you from the rear, will go a long way. It’s mighty fine to know you have a cabin, a place you have built with your own hands. Maybe it pushed you hard to do it but it makes it that much more precious to you. It must be wonderful when you suggested that Vera might be feeding the deer. That sounds like you are mighty close to theheart[sic] of nature and it’s where you should be because you learn to talk with the animals or know what they are talking about, which is good for an artist. Things have been pretty quiet here. In fact, I have done very little this year. When I can’t sell Charlie’s models, it looks to me like I couldn’t sell any body else’s but I can boost for you and I always will. I believe you will have a good season this coming year and I hope you will have something ahead for the tourists when they start. Both you and Vera accept my sincere love and good wishes.
