Osceola Knife Blades

Slender, bifacially thinned with slightly convex sides and a straight to slightly concave base;  Osceola blades and projectile points have prominent notches near the base, and range from 3.0 -- 8.0 inches length.  It is likely that the shorter Osceola blades were used as projectile points.

Osceola Blades are associated with the Old Copper Culture and found in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Missouri.  Similar points are found in Tennessee and western Kentucky.
