Large curved hair comb with 6 slots for ribbons. Upper third of comb: top edge has eleven scallops cut out by stamping, each with a small hole at the cent, each hole has an oval-shaped design. Beneath scallops is stamped design of alternating 5 small and 4 large ovals in horizontal line. Beneath ovals are 2 rows of 3 slots. Below slots are 17 comb teeth. Each tooth has a pointed tip. Metal was cut out by use of cutting chisel, not y jeweler's saw. Same with slots and teeth. All design stamps appear to be commercial. Edges of comb teeth are stamped with "toothed" straight stamp for texture. No maker stamp on back.
