 [1]                                                 9/5/29   Dear Nancy:                 Glad to receive your kind  letter.    Now the most important thing I know of to write about is that we had a table [illegible] tipping the other evening & Charlie & Madeleine’s Mother came through very strong  & I asked Charlie about the book & its title, Infact[sic] we had quite a talk about it & Charlie said he liked the title “Good Medicine” & when  I said it was good medicine the table rocked fast back & forth which denotes pleasure or  laughter. So we are in a position now to insist on the title being “Good Medicine” & when I said it was good medicine the table rocked fast back & forth which denotes pleasure or  laughter.  So we are in a possission[sic] now  to insist on t he title being “Good Medicine” as it is Charlie’s wish. I know you will be  pleased.         [2]   About the “Lunch Hour”. If I am not  mistaken Wallice told me of piece of  bronze in the museum in Rome very  much like the “Bug Hunters” that was  called “The Lunch Hour;” I think I have  heard you mention it. Enclosed is a picture  from the article in Touring Topics. That is  all I know about it. If I am wrong &  cann’t[sic] have a cast just let me know & I  will weep silently all by myself. I haven’t a Ran “Wrangler” Nancy; but if the face can be fixed as Charlie would  wish it, I mean a fine likeness then I  would be interested in one.    You are coming east this fall aren’t  you for the opening of “Good Medicine” ? I hope Mr. Maul[sic] can get the consent of the  letter owners to exhibit them.
