Apgar, Montana September 7, 1927 6, [handwritten] Dear Mr. Conway: Y our letters of September 2nd and 3rd received. I thank you for all the contents of the letter of the second. I appreciate very much your going into detail about the meeting at the Rainbow. I have not heard from them but they probably would not be as prompt in writing as you were. I am planning to arrive in Great Falls Sun- day morning and Jack and Martha will take the Monday train for Los Angeles. Your description of what you saw from the studio at Bull Head Lodge is very lovely and I appreciate very much your writing it for me. I think it means more to me than it would anyone else because I know what you are talking about. We are having a little excitement this morn- ing as the wind has loosened a big cedar back of the chicken house and it is leaning directly over the studio and has to be out so the telephone men are coming to protect the line and we have general excitement around here as the trees have been cut to make a path way for the big cedar.
